I think the bounty mentioned in that article is the one that a few people at AmiWest 2019 were talking about, and contributed to, with Trevor putting in the last bit (somewhat large I think) of the bounty money, so 68k support would continue in the GCC compiler. Trevor or someone else that was present during the dinner, or meeting where it was discussed will have to confirm, or correct what my recollection of the comments are. _________________

I can confirm this, Amigadave. When it was brought to the group by I think SaccDude, a collection was taken around the table and Trevor agreed to top it up to get this done.
