I own one of these for my Amiga 1000, and while they may not have all the features of the "newer" Perfect Sound 3, it is so awesome that this one fits so perfect with the A1000 Case.
There are several audio capture programs that work with it, so if you don't want to use the Perfect Sound software you have some flexibility.

Pick it up if you have an original 1000! (It really needs memory expansion to work well, though)
