I have recently made an agreement with Matthew Leaman of Amigakit to offer the option for A1222 early adopter customers to order a pre-built system based on the Checkmate A1500+ case from Steve Jones. I have a stictly limited number of cases and parts in stock which can be resereved on a first come first served basis.

The price will be total price 250.

I will not be accepting any payments unitl the A1222 boards are due in stoc at Amigakit.

PM me if you wish to reserve a case.

All cases are black will include the following:

1 x slot loading drive bay cover.
1 x slot loading drive mounting tray.
2 x blank drive bay cover (one spare).
2 x front blank / port fitting plate (one spare).
1x blank rear access plate.

Aditional items included are as follows.

1 x LG GS40N slot loading DVD drive + screws.
1 x PCIe x16 extender.
1 x PCI x16 2U right angle adapter PCB.
1 x SATA + power cable for the DVD drive.
1 x SATA cable for a hard drive.
1 x front panel USB2 + audio ports.

PSU, video card and hard drive are not included in the price but can be provided at additional cost. I have not determined the price of those items at present due to possible price fluctuations.

@Rob

Did I have to already order the A1222 to qualify for this?

@Rob

Thanks to everyone who has registered their interest so far. There are still 4 cases on the list at the moment.

I have a quick question about video cards.

Would people be happy with this card that was linked by an AW member in another thread.

Since I'd be buying more than one card the price would be only 37.99 per card and the seller is offering free postage so that really keeps the costs down for everyone. The only downside is that the 12 month warranty will start running down from when I receive them but this is a lot cheaper since the same card will typically cost 60 - 70 from other retailers.

I'm happy to secure the cards before they are all snapped and again will not be asking for payment in advance.

Let me know if you want this card either in this thread or by PM.
