With the vertical slots.
I first ordered the horizontal, but then ordered the vertical.
Otherwise would not fit.
I am very happy with the case. You still get a retro Amiga feeling with it. That worked out very well.
It is also a beautiful, good quality case.

I thought that would probably be the configuration you went so you could use the other slots on the Sam. If you do need a different video card at least now people know only to recommend low profile cards.

I have one here too that I used to rehouse my Ryzen based PC but I also got a bunch of extra cases and accessories to build into A1222 systems when they get released.

Maybe it works with A1222 ??? We don't have a crystal ball, of course.
If the tabor is not too expensive, easy to get and faster than my SAM460, I would like to sell my Sam motherboard and switch with an A1222 motherboard.
I want to keep my chekmate 1500 of course
Have you been able to order the A1222?

A-EON is focussed on development of the drivers for Southern Islands and Polaris cards now. The R5 230 is essentially a re-badged HD6400 from the ealier Northern Islands series of cards for which there will be no 3D drivers.

The A1222 will give better performance if the program is compiled for SPE but the Sam460 will probably perform better with software that uses a lot of floating point code. Until the there is a full comparison it will be difficult to know which is the best all round performer.

The only opportunity to order so far was the 100 pre-orders. I have offered to those customers to build complete A1500+ based systems and have a small list of interested customers at the moment with a small number of cases not reserved so far.
