As part of my recent Amiga acquisition I purchased an Amiga RGB to VGA adapter from Amiga Kit so that I could use a flat panel screen with the Amiga. It's my understanding the Amiga requires an flat panel which can provide a horizontal sync of 15KHz, which I believe this does (I purchased it for my Apple IIgs for which it works fine). When I power up the Amiga I see a garbled screen (which doesn't really look like anything). The Amiga works fine on the composite video so it appears to be operational (at least on composite).
Does anyone know if this particular model flat panel will work with the Amiga 1000 and the AmigaKit RGB to VGA adapter?

I'm a similar boat as you but I'm waiting for Amiga RGB-to-VGA adapter and scan doubler box to arrive.
Atm, I connect my Amiga 1200 to RGB-to-Scart RGB cable to active Scart RGB-to-HDMI box which is then connected to HDMI-to-DVI digital adapter into 17 inch Philips 170P LCD monitor.
I do have an old Samsung SyncMaster 740N and 940N on standby.
If any help to anyone from PR arsenal: a Samsung (LE22C456E2W) Amigawhite! flatscreen TV works that has a Scart input from A1200 Video and also to PC In From the PIcasso IV from the same tower Apollo '060 . Ext RGB,PC IN,HDMI,USB Etc a lot of things including TV and others.
Philips old school monitor and tv. Samsung big tv to A500 with the described Scart cable.
A1 and pc has V2 46HL Acer in the same.
Just a bit of a hobby... Once had a Nec 3d multisync that worked fine. Had the appropriate Hz Better still if possible to test. The cable to scart is a bit of a saviour with a few others.
These are all old but works.

I wanted to update everyone on what I've learned since first posting. It appears I do require a buffered adapter as indicated in the linked post. I ordered one this morning and will update this thread once it has arrived.
