Hi

Whats a good wireless/ rj45 pcmcia network card to get. I have the one from Amigakit but I think it had died. It has a really flimsy pop out rj45 connector which I have never liked so would like to change it any way for a good solid one. Wireless or rj45 dont mind

Thanks guys.

@g01df1sh

Chipset is told in readme. Surprise! ;) I bought this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32233160717.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dyA9f2i

I think this is most important Amiga expansion for a long time. With it we could connect huge range of different kind of expansions to Amiga. If it sell well enough that they develop more drivers for it. Unlike usual Amiga expansions, these are dirt cheap.

I have one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3com-Megahertz-3C589-10-Mbps-LAN-PC-Card-PCMCIA-network-adapter-Amiga-600-1200/133634264408

I got mine from work about 15-20 years ago when they were being chucked out.

I think the slightly older blue ones work too. If they are the Ehterlink III they are plentiful and cheap (try "3c589"). I can't guarantee I've remembered that correctly though, so do check the driver to ensure compatibility.

(oh yeah, and the ones with the pop-out connectors are horrid - all sorts of cost cutting)
