@number6

interesting at about 43:00 Richard Lowenstein (Reshoot R for Amiga) updates on a mention last year about Amico and Amiga.
Very diplomatic response given what has transpired since.

Gunnar (Apollo Team) follows at about 50:00.

1:03:18 Hyperion gets a mention from the host. No one on the panel comments obviously.

The host person using Amiga 500, my guess he has never seen or used a AmigaONE, so does don’t know what that’s Is about.

I feeling he is coming from point about hardware, Hyperion was software house, never made hardware, that job was Acube-System, AEON and Eyetech, AmigaOS3.2 will be running on the Vampire.

The question should be way don’t AmigaONE and AmigaOS4.x compatible hardware include Amiga chips, when where design, how far had reverse engineers come in 2000? Where concerns about patens, way did follow up hardware not include it.

Its Mike Battilana from Cloanto who is suing Amico / Intelivision. so I don't see way they should have anything agenst Hyperion. And I do not see any point for Amico to alienate potential buyers. and Hyperion are not making amiga console or games. I think they see this event as useful free publicity.

@NutsAboutAmiga

No. Cloanto is not suing Amico.
They were forced to file an objection to the Intellivision filing for the "Amico" trademark by a "contractual partner".

Details of this were made clear in an interview made with the CFO of Intellivision, Nick Richards.

If you wish to dispute his story that the people fighting over "Amiga" have requested a letter from Intellivision stating they (Intellivision) won't sue them (Amiga Corporation and Hyperion), please take it up with Mr. Richards.

That is not what Gunnar is stating in the video. Please listen more carefully.

Let put it another way, many people use AmigaOS3.2 on vampire already.

Sure it makes sense to sell Vampire with Apollo OS pre-installed, avoiding any legal issues, not having to increase price, for OEM license.

@NutsAboutAmiga

This might help you concerning the "other" issue.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tcBWw4tO00&t=7469s&ab_channel=TheGeekGetaway

Then in utube: turn on CC then Settings->Subtitles->Auto-translate->[your preferred language]

Finally scroll to 2:04:30 for the question and response.

I hope the translation works well.
