A Disappointing Christmas for Amiga products?

Considering the number of new products in the pipeline e.g. A500 Mini, Metro Siege, the A1222 Plus and Apollo Icedrake accelerator to name a few, there are relatively few new products available for an Amigan's Christmas stocking! I was able to snag a new Amiga Gaming Calendar having missed out last year and it looks like they're still available:

Amiga Gaming Calendar 2022

I was considering a laser upgrade kit for my Escom A1200 mouse but other than that you can't even get a boxed version of Worthy if you missed out the first time! Whatever A-EON says I can't see that you can buy an X5000 today even if you wanted to!

Sad times? Roll on 2022!

@BigD

That’s cool, but it’s shame it does not promote new games from 2020/2021.

I remember someone has recently bought one from Amedia Computer France; may be worth asking them.

Ok, they seem to have a supply of mobos and they put them in a different RGB type tower case. I kinda prefer the official case but at least the machine is still available.

Although yes some of the bigger projects has missed this year, I still feel it been a pretty good year and lots of new products are out there,

we seen the rise in Pistorm, Amiga magazines (amiga addict / zzap amiga), big improvements in emulation scene, checkmate cases, kickstarter books, AmigaOS3.2 etc not a bad year really

Relec and GGS Data both appear to have X5000 boards and systems in stock too.

David's Books would make a nice stocking filler

@Trixie

I ordered an X5000 from Amedia in November, they seem to go in and out of stock, so it seems to be a case of getting your timing right.

I’m still waiting for mine to arrive, seems to be delayed at Stanstead, probably waiting for customs clearance

Hopefully the following will explain in a bit more detail the current situation concerning the X5000 systems being mentioned on various Amiga websites in the past week:

At first I thought you were planning Chrismas early this year. Then I looked at the date. Hey aren't things still the same now!?

It's a C= Commodore tradition.

@BigD

I was hoping that Enhancer pack for OS4 that was promised was going to make it out by Christmas, but guess we will have to wait longer.

Maybe 2024 will see some great releases.

I thought about starting a thread to see what everyone was hoping to see you for Amiga this coming year, both realistic and unrealistic expectations.

Good idea! I'd love Metro Siege for next Christmas!
