| Funny, the motor you showed must be able to do work. They are tested with a very light load and the one at least had to be hand started. If you seak to replace an electric motor it must be better than one. The test showed it acted more like a flywheel. On an electric motor, I can look up the number of foot-pounds of torque. The motor you showed had no or very little resistance. Moving less than a pound does no one any good. A former Journeyman Electrician and now an IT tech.
Another issue at best is a constant speed motor as that would be of no use for cars even if it did work. In an electric car, each wheel has a variable speed motor. These motors control your speed or even shut off as needed. Last edited by hardwaretech on 26-Jan-2022 at 10:03 PM.
