As it's a slow month, do we all remember Petro's crowing achievement, other than talking New Star Electronics out of investing in Commodore UK? Yes, that's right it was the forming of the ANNEX Amiga Technologies dance troop to perform 'Back for the Future' (The Theme Of Amiga)!

Better Quality WOA 1999

ANNEX at WOA 1999 Amiga Format Footage

So who was your favourite band member? Please take this seriously as this was the best thing Petro EVER achieved! Respect where respect is due. I personally prefer Sash! but hey each to their own.

@QBit

What's that got to do with this premiere dance troupe heralding the rebirth of the Amiga as rehashed Commodore designed A1200 and A4000T machines?

Who needed David Pleasance and Colin Proudfoot and their business savviness when you have a jolly German bloke handing out music CDs?

@QBit

No, you opinion matters! Who is your favourite? Vote and then we can get back to Zorrams and discussing the benefits of one CPU ISA vs another because that's really what we live for. That and insulting Trevor's choice of toilet and his socks!

@BigD

I went to that show with a few friends but I don't think we bothered to watch the performance as the whole idea of an Amiga warm up band was pretty cringy.

My memorable moments from the day were seing Wipeout 2097 running on an Amiga, a demo whatever the latest version of Photogenics was and buying a Blizzard 1240* from Power Computing. The thing that sticks most in my was as we were making our way home. There was curious guy on platform of the underground station with one hand holding up the drawstrings that kept his trousers from falling down and the other hand clutching a can of butane ligther gas. Between huffing on the gas he would point at people and make unintelligible tramp noises as concerned mothers guided their children away from him.

Annex ultimately led to Jim Collas being fired.

*The B1240 eventually ended living at AmigaKit HQ where it got upgraded to an 060 and is probably still now used for office duties to this day.
