@all

I do not see an obvious thread for the Amiga 37 show, so please post any news and/or comments here.

I'm hoping there'll be a public unveiling of a 100% x86_64 port of MorphOS.

Sorry to disappoint; I haven't noticed any computer running MorphOS at the show

At least that event got some coverage in the radio. I heard the show being mentioned at the WDR 4 radio. And the WDR is not a local radio, but a major player broadcasting throughout entire North Rhine Westaphalia. Probably the first time for many ppl hearing the word Amiga on the radio since ages. The targeted audience of WDR 4 is probably rather fitting: the entire station is rather a retro station celebratin the 80ies (and to a lesser extend the 70ies and 60ies). But it was also mentioned that the show is not retro only, but also shows new developments. The text was rather good.

One of my teenager traumas was one bus driver who listend to WDR4 pretty loud. I, late as on most mornings (hence that particular bus with that particular driver!) tired and with low motivation and probably an empty battery for rhe walkman (well, no Sony, but always Aiwa) and a crowded bus and then loud playing WDR4 - it was a nightmare! Alone their jingle during that time... nasty shivers!

Well, since some years the station has changed, but I still don't like it too much, It is too much of the same old boring mainstream and it's way too much retro and feeling good by looking to the review mirror. Anyway it's okay for the kitchen during cooking. Problen though: 1live dosen't cut it neither (except Fiehe on Sunday at 22:00!).

@anyone at the show

Did you see Sean Donohue (MyRetroComputer) at the show?

I was just reading where he planned to attend along with hopefully an updated version of the old CUSA "Commodore OS Vision" s/w that Leo planned to offer.

@thread

Same link as above.

Amiga Corp at about 3:06:00.

Official announcement of the 2 deals I believe I mentioned as rumor some time ago.

Blaze and Anstream.

If you are unfamiliar with the companies, Blaze is Evercade and if you watched the RetroGames Ltd. interviews you'll understand Anstream. Darren (who accomplished most of the licensing for RGL) went into detail about Anstream in the interview. Basically it's about streaming, whereas Evercade is h/w, which has previously licensed packages of games from companies like Intellivision.
Mike would give no details about the Anstream agreement. I believe he is leaving that to them.

@Comi

the most relevant information propably Tabor indeed seems to come reality end of 2022 or beginning 2023 but it seems much more expensive than what it was announced with the pre-orders.
