I posted this in the Hyperion AmigaOS 3.2 section, but as there haven't been any posts in there for 6 months I thought I might get a quicker reply here.

I purchased Amiga OS 3.2 when it was released and have been loving it on my A1200. This weekend, I decided it was time to upgrade my 3.9 A4000 to 3.2.2, but upon opening the box, it appears my CD has developed a crack and is now no longer readable:

I'm not sure how this happened, as the disc has been sitting inside its box on my shelf for the last couple of years.

Anyway, my question is, is it possible to download an ISO to burn my own image or a way to get the OS files, or do I need to purchase a whole new copy? I can't see the full image in my downloads section on the Hyperion website, just updates.

Thanks

@danwood

It should be there in your downloads section.

Did you register it when you bought it? If not, register the serial# on the site and that should unlock the download for you.

Scratch that. I just looked again and even though I have registered the .ISO is not there just the updates like you are seeing.

Sorry

@outlawal2

Yeah doesn't appear there is a way to download it, strange as OS4.1 area of the Hyperion site allows me to download an ISO.

Oh well, I managed to locate an ISO by other means, so I'm up and running.

@danwood
Did you register it ?
True story, when I got my copy of 3.2 I threw away the envelope with the serial number and had to dumpster dive to recover it, which I did manage to do ;) They should have included the serial number on the CD itself...
Regarding the ISO, just contact your seller they should know you bought it and be able to provide you with a back up...

@danwood

A while back I purchased OS3.1.4 for my A4000 as digital. The other night I just happened to log in and found I could download it as a zip of ADF files. Thought it was strange it was zip and not lha. So, it must be different if you buy a real CD. Would have expected it to be downloadable though. Given you pay extra for a CD.

@danwood I had a similar problem, But my CD was less broked than your, I do not remember if I can made a iso from it to use, I use a FPGA, then needed a iso in SD card to work, but I download the hotfix, in hyperium site and install it, and all work fine to me.

Sorry about my terrible ENglish.
