What are the limitations on OS4? I dont use internet radio, I'm just asking out of curiosity.. I've been reading stuff about it mostly working except for one or two things, but I havent been following this closely at all.

It's cool hearing about Amiga software that is still being developed. Keep it up.

Oh, crap!

I just installed ANR'05 as well as the support files and have a MAJOR PROBLEM. For some reason, when I installed xadmaster.library, the install script defaulted to my USB harddrive (where on earth does it get this instead of sys:?) and now I'm missing access to dozens of gigabytes of my mp3s -- stuff I've spent hundreds of hours encoding!

I used to have several directories in the root (Classical, Popular, Filmscores, etc.), but now I have only two. The two folders combined total only about half of the reported used amount. I suspect the other data's on there, just hidden away. There's also a very large file (1.7 gigs) called ( that wasn't there before.

Is there a way to correct this harddrive?

BAD installer!

TJH

Thanks for the update!! I love ANR. Use it at work all the time and everyone wants to know what it is.

Only thing I noticed on my OS3.9 system is that clicking on "About" crashes my system now. Tried my older ANR3.x and "About" works fine. 4.0 and 4.1 both crash it though. Only a minor problem of course, everything else works perfect.

Thanks again!

@Jahc

You can check it on this page what works and what not.
http://amigazeux.net/anr/feat.php

Another way is to check the plugins & savers dir and see
which files only have .elf extensions. These are mos only.
And finally the docs will tell more :)

You wont regret using it. But sure there are some mos only
stuff i would like to have 68k versions of :)

You can check out AmiNetRadio shots on Amitopia webpage. We have
done test of it on MorphOS, but if anyone wants to give a review
of it on AmigaOS4 or on amigas with 060 etc? Your welcome!

Thanks to all at #AmigaZeux for getting AmiNetRadio working on OS4 - it's working very well on my AmigaOne-XE.

The compatibility list does state that the ANRNG GUI doesn't work with OS4, but if I just click 'ignore errors' when the Grim Reaper appears, it does work. The background of the main image is displayed, but the iDot GUI actually looks very nice, and is really clear and simple to use

I tryd it and it (works), a screen grab of that is needed, the part that should be transparent is not..

I was able to launch that version

Aside from getting 8-9 alerts before the ANRG skin loads and the player fades in (known issue), I found some other bugs:

The "Floppy Disk" gadget of the default skin doesn't react on click.

So I switched to the WinAmp skin. Then I loaded an MP3 from DATA:AUDIO/MP3/MISC/SomeSong.mp3 and when I clicked the "eject" button again to load another song the ASL requester contained the following string in the path field: "DATA:AUDIO/M fYISC/".
From a programming standpoint I'm not sure how this can possibly happen, but there it is.

Since I couldn't open the load requester directly from the default skin, I also tried dropping an icon on the player it crashed, some invalid pointer data passed to dos.library I think.
