According to the posts to Patrick Wesseling's wall on Facebook by his wife, he was hit by a car and killed while jogging. He was known here as Coder, one of the site's moderators.

Rest in Peace Coder!

Condolences to his friends and family if this is indeed true.

One thought though,.... perhaps change the news heading to something a little more tactful and respectful. "AmigaWorld Moderator Passes away", or "Amigaworld Mod. Coder Involved In Terrible Accident", or something to that effect.

Oh no !, that's really sad. Coder was one of the members I had great respect for,
he always enjoyed all Amiga stuff an treated people with respect in his posts.
