Are there any good news in this issue, or are you just happy it's out?

Hmm.. Not sure if I shoul but I'm sure it will be edited by a moderator if it's a "Nono"

But let's just say Mai isn't only interested in selling Terron boards but also in the release of OS4

Well, they should know by about the end of this month. Not too long to wait, as most are expecting September and October to reveal more anyway.

I don't really think it is a problem to discuss the CAM articles. Even Ben said at one time something like: "I cannot believe people are not discussing this as it's been known for some time" (that was in reference to something else that was revealed in a CAM issue.

Ah, well. Most of us have been waiting for real (official AI) news for ages now, so I guess another month or two won't kill us...

I can tell you what CAM doesn't say. It doesn't say any release dates for OS4. Basically the bit everyone is excited about is just a Status update on OS4 which is mostly whats been heard from Ben at the shows recently, obviously however things have progressed since then.

I mean technically there's nothing stoping me from telling you what it says except for the fact I paid for the priviledge to read it and people who want to know didn't.

Really it's no big news just the kind of small snippet which always gets Amigan knickers in a twist.

Well, yeah, I did too. But there are people also who bought A1's already and didn't join the Club. They may read this info on some A1 list which I'm not privy to, but all in all, I don't see what it hurts to discuss things once it's been revealed. It should be there to help stimulate confidence in the whole community, even if some of us get to read it "first".

Ahh but I guess the thing is it isn't revealed publically, so it's polite and good netiquette not to repost things as such unless given permission. If it was public it would be different, that said it's not like any CAM members have signed an NDA not to tell anyone what is in CAM.

I have however signed an NDA with Amiga which presumably would limit me what I can say unless Amiga released it publically, but of course as it was more Hyperion related the NDA may not count. It also may not count anyway because the NDA I signed was more about developing for DE, but as usual the usual disclaimers apply so IANAL.
