Hey, what is with the pop-up advertisements hidden in this news item? The words Navy, Total, and another word I can't remember all were double underscored and brought up an advertisement when my cursor mover over them.

I selected edit and then the browser return arrow and they went away. I hope my machine is not infected with something.

Anyone know?

LATER:
The pop-ups are back. Now the words are: pages and Total.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

You're kidding. It makes this site look cheap and I don't like it.

@ FuZion

You have to be running an Ad Blocker then because they are all over the first two news items. This item has dropped down so I wonder if this only happens on the first two news items.

When using Firefox the little buggers have also spread over to the word Messages so I cannot check my messages without an annoying ad blocking my way.

I am using OWB now and do not see them.

Hmmm, pretty odd. The only blocker I have (I think) is the build in one & that normally says there's a pop up & asks if I want to allow it. This message hasn't come up though.

Still, I don't think it's a prob if it brings a little extra revenue for the guys.

FuZion.

@ Moxee

You're right. Didn't notice but my mouse pointer went there by accident. It's annoying, isn't it?

This is a darn god mag and the style reminds me of the good old magazines such as CU Amiga!
I've actually printed out all pages in full color just to enjoy it as it should, in the comfort of my Stressless chair.
