Others may have done so, too, but since there is an active Dutch Amigascene I just thought we should try to be helpfull.

Someone in the Linux community was involved in a similar tragic accident in the past six months. It seem this sort of thing happens more often than is known.

| This is sad beyond words. I can't believe it...
I don't follow the Amiga that much anymore but not long ago, i stumbled on Coder's blog about his amiga projects and it amazed me how passionate, enthusiastic, optimistic, friendly and nice he always seemed to be (and still continued to be). He seemed like such an all round nice guy.

| Shocking and sad news!
An Amigan, but first of all a husband, a young person with his life ahead, interrupted by such a tragic event. My deepest condolences to his wife & family.

Another member of our community, Darius Brewka had a nearly fatal accident a long time ago.
My brother helped him as a betatester for his famous AmiStart program (well known in AROS/Icaros Desktop). I hope he`s doing well now...

I betatested os4 version of amistart for Darius Brewka. He was really a good developer, easy to communicate with and always fixed bugs and good ideas. Havent heard much since the accident. I hope that he is getting better. |
