The AmiGBG 2005 website is finally online. Among the news is IBM who will update us on the progress of Power and talk about the new Cell processor. Mikael Kalms of TBL will talk about 3D demo programming in the Developers Pavilion. The booking system including PayPal is now OPEN! 12 EUR in advance or 16 EUR at the door. AmiGBG will take place on the 20th anniversary of the Amiga. 23rd of July 2005.

We've got lots of exciting news lined up for you. More on this later on www.amigbg.com. Join us in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Amiga Computer! The party after the banquette will continue all night. (Don't forget the extra pair of socks and a snake kit)

See You there!

@Toaks

Dude, that's horrible. Renegotiate that vacation immediately!

I'll be there. I'm currently trying to organise it so that I will be passing by on my way somewhere else. I need to be on Bornholm at least one of the days between 18th and 23rd of July to get my fix of everything medieval (http://www.bornholminfo.dk/s1/Attraktioner/Middelaldercenter.asp?langId=2), which means I'll probably travel back north on the 20th, which again means that getting there on the tenth would be nice, which again means I'll be passing Gothenburg twice in July, first time either 4th or 5th, second time I'll stay from 22nd to 24th (or 25th). Why does it take me 5 days from Gothenburg to Bornholm, I hear you ask. Well, it is after all 600km and I'm on a bike

I do want to go to the Mosel valley again, but it seems that'll have to wait until next year... Am planning a trip from Hahn to Rotterdam by bicycle, but that wouldn't fit all that well with AmiGBG

This weeks pet peeve:
Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.

Give me a call when in gothenburg and I'll buy you a beer, you will need one after allt that pedaling on a bike.

Looks like this is the year to be there!

AmigaOS 4.0 nears release, Amiga celebrates 20 years, it's in Sweden.

Three good point, no bad!
