Yes, I think so. Were this C64 times??

Broderbund Software started on the Apple AFAIK, including games as well as education software. Pretty sure they then went on to 'most of the other platforms' as they arrived- see Broderbund History for a brief intro.

Sad that the About Us link on Broderbund's page doesn't give their real history, only a link to RiverDeep

@wegster

hey, thanks for the links. They seem to be quite active. I like this classic brands ... apps like Printshop really sound familiar. Good opportunity for Amiga!

@Valwit & Peggus

Why be so pessimistic? Wait and see then speak. At least to me seems that A Inc is trying to do something now. Anyway i don't care too much, i'm much more interested in OS4

I think this amigaanywhere #### is completely and utter boring, I can't stand that JACKPOT! #### on amiga.com, it is a disgrace for the amiga. Anyway, I just stay away from amiga.com and try to ignore amigaanywhere as much as possible.

Same old... Same old... Amiga Community.

It's kinda strange, I would think, that when good news comes the Amiga community splits apart.
They begin to talk down anything that Amiga has to offer.

I've seen it time and time again.
It will always continue to be the same.

No wonder Commodore went to the dust.
Or was it different back then?
Was the Amiga community actually a real "community" at one time?

If the Amiga is to survive, and I'm sure that some here just don't give a damn.
I even think that many would be happy if Amiga stayed just the way it is. A freakin' dream!
Some folks just love to dream about the way it could be but don't have the guts to stand behind what they "say" they believe in.

If Amiga is to survive, this is the way that it will survive.
Break into the upcoming technologies.
They build the foundation and then they build the house.
But the foundation has got to be a strong one, not one that is 15 years old.

Maybe some like to sit in front of an emulator 12 hours a day and dream of the way it used to be, but I would rather move on and see what the future has to offer.

Ok but I'm not interrested in gambling and JACKPOT!, maybe the rest of the world is though, who knows.. I am happy though, that we have hyperion developing os4. And that we have the amigaone, pegasos and the community.

In a way, it is also strange to see our biggest rivals, atari and sega, having ended up like 100% software houses, but in a way they are doing better than the amiga.
