Software News   Software News : New version of avcodec.library released

This new version features an external codec plugin system. External codecs will be used by avcodec.library if they are placed into your LIBS:avcodecs/ directory. Currently only one codec is available and that is a52.library

The new avcodec.library can be found here

An AC3 audio codec a52.library is already available here

More codecs are planned to be released in the near future.

a52.lib is latest - 51.3. DVPlayer didn't crash prior to installing this but AC3 sound would not work. I have sent crash log to your private email. Please advise what else
might be required. Thanks.
