| I had reported still having trouble replying to P.M.s here on AWorld.
I just flushed the cache "Cache/Delete from Disk/Erase Cache". It took a while to do, probably because I have a 10G cache partition.
Now that it's done, I've been able to reply to two different PM's!
So maybe flushing the cache should be advised to others that are upgrading from a previous version.
Hope it helps, I just LOVE the new AWeb.. Thanks Guys!!

LOL. Did you write that one?

No that would Henrik, he handles the website and related tools like bugzilla and work overview. Invaluable. _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad

| Its very nice - nippy too ! I got used to IBrowse, so I may miss a few features (Network status window ?) and have trouble locating others, but its dem quick ! native OS4 really does wonders for image decoding.
and multiple instances too - Ibrowse never did that for me ! _________________ XH558 - the worlds last flying Vulcan. ok, its actually XL426 in the picture but you know what I mean.

It's there. First, under the "control" window at top of the AWeb screen. Second, under Settings/AWeb GUI settings/2 Menus.
You can also define your own hotkey to open this window under: Settings/AWeb GUI settings/5 Keys.
Note:The "stop" sign at the lower left of this window will "break" the connection to anything you have "highlighted" in the "Network status" window. The "stop" sign at the lower right of this window will "break" all connections. Useful if there has been a stall or an element that has failed to load.

The bug stopping PM was down to an incorrectly cached javascript source file The file were cached with a size of 0 and then the dud file was fetched from cache. So flushing cahe will help this.
You needn't flush the entire cache just bring up the cache browser sort by type and delete any .js files with size 0. _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad

|
SElect menu item Settings / Browser settings
Goto to the viewers tab,
look for the mime type
image/gif
if the viewer action option is set to AWeb Plugin (A) ensure that the arguments section contains the option LOOPS=-1 (you need to press return after typing in the value else it will not be remembered)
If the veiwer is set to Internal (I) then you need to install the plugin.
To do thid the easiest thing is to use the form in the plugins own docs.
Open the file
file://localhost/AWeb_APL:AWebPlugin/Docs/awebgif.html and click on the run script button.
[edit] Just noticed the script is broken. Fixed in CVS but you'll have to follow the manual instructions for now [/edit]Last edited by broadblues on 07-Oct-2005 at 10:22 PM. Last edited by broadblues on 07-Oct-2005 at 09:57 PM.
