I've got application.library and AmiDock supportin my application, and I think Wet does too, but you're correct about the lack of documentation, however I would imagine that Stefan is quite willing to send the SDK to interested developers if asked nicely _________________ This fire is burnin' and it's out of control It's not a problem you can stop, It's rock n' roll - GN'F'N'R

| Short status report: three sponsored dev packages on the way to lucky developers in Italy, Britain and US! Plus one package sponsored even before the offical start of this promotion, US again. Happy coding! The generous sponsors are from Germany (2), Sweden and the United Kingdom. |

| That's great, you sponsors are awesome. If there are any other available, I am off to contact a couple of worthy souls that they need to read this thread.

| Hi,
I think this is a great idea. I'm willing to sponsor a developer, but unable to decide who has/has not yet been sponsored. Somebody not yet sponsored please PM me. I will be away from the computer for most of the day, so it will be tommorrow before I get back to you.
Thanks, Don Feldbruegge |

If I may make suggestion: identify the software you like most and find out who wrote it. Should be more satisfying than sponsoring a developer who has no meaning to you. Chance of collision: practically zero. But if it happens, you make a new choice and your name will be added to the "Sponsored by" line on the CD anyway, to show your appreciation. Doesn't matter that somebody else was quicker in that case. |

| I have just requested CubicIDE for ChaosLord.
Thank you, Dietmar, for coming up with this great idea.

Yes, it has - take a look at the installation dialogs. _________________

| Am I going to be able to install GoldEd8 + IDE + GCC onto both my Amiga1200T OS3.9 and also on my AmigaOne?
I really need both!
Does it come with a 68K GCC and a PPC GCC?
I really need both to get my software ported over.
Am I to understand that this CD will install a 100% WORKING gcc onto my sytstem? (hope so) _________________ Wanna try a wonderfull magical Amiga strategy game? Total Chaos AGA

Sure, install it on as many computers as you want, as long as you will be the user of it. It's a per-user license. Install separately. Some parts are installed for the detected hardware, like make, so installations can not be moved over.

The following free compilers are included as contributions on the CD and are optionally installed: two 68k gcc, two MorphOS gcc-ppc and the latest vbcc for ppc and 68k. Depending on platform, some or all can be installed and used at the same time. Cubic IDE also works with SAS/C and StormC3, if you have them. In case of OS4, the installed gcc and vbcc of the official OS4 SDK are used. No additional compiler or SDK will be installed.

Do you need cross-compilation? That's no longer supported (over frustration about the OS4 SDK release mode). Previous versions - ie . the final few AIX releases - could do it. If cross-compilation is essential, do not install the Cubic IDE C/C++ package but try to locate the older C/C++ package of AIX, which is compatible. It was a free download, somebody will have it. With it, you can compile for OS4 on any platform, including OS3 and MorphOS. And you can compile for those platforms on OS4. |

Good. I have been using SAS/C since forever and I will be using that initially.

Not to my knowledge.

| Well I am sure as hell fed up with doing my editing in Vim and wouldn't mind a copy of Cubic IDE. I was one of the OS4 Developer contest entrants but had to drop out due to time constraints.
But if you don't consider that that makes me a lamer then I won't complain about a sponsorship! In return I'll add you to the beta testing team. I am working on AMC (Amiga Media Centre) BTW. My address is:

| Mmmmh donuts...
 Err, Cubic IDE
I wouldn't mind such a tool
...but there might be some more deserving people out there that should get one first. I can manage with CygnusEd and the shell. _________________ AlexC's free OS4 software collection
