Why is it im allways finding my self staring at dar and not focus-ing on the topic? Yes about time to, me agrees. I would like to know if AmigaOne is going to be a true BroadBand Ready machine... if this question has allready been answerd then ignore it, but this the first time Ive asked.

As far as I remember the answer is yes, the new TCP/IP stack is one of the most advanced out there

Sunday is closing.

Just a reminder.. hopefully the people who select questions, select them well. If the questions are "you've been doing great job, whats next?"-like, then we can start hitting nails to the credibility-coffin of this site.

For once, Fleecy, honest answers. Start with the t-shirts, go further from there. Whats keeping the 1000 t-shirts.. I could pay those 1000 t-shirts from my own pocket tomorrow. Whats keeping AI ?

And please no hyping of something that may/will come at some point (eg. double g4 1000ghz). We want AmigaOne first.

Estimated time for OS4's arrival. I settle for a month, it doesn't need to be THAT exact. If OS4 is "in it's final stages" as told, it can't be that hard to announce a rough date, is it?

I could go on with one hundred questions, but lets start with those three. Pretty please and sugar on top.

@ Hooligan

Well, there are a lot of interesting questions to pose, and
there are "only" ten a week, so we'll have plenty of
opportunitues to see all questions appear.

For example, those bloody T-shirts are completely
uninteresting as far as I'm concerned ... (just to illustrate
that questions carry different weight to different people ).

@Hooligan:

If you have questions you want answered, you should ask them on the forum thread which has been set up for the purpose (unless they are already there).

Let me also say that I agree with SlimJim when it comes to the T-shirt issue. It is one of my least concerns, and besides, I believe it was to some extent answered on ANN recently. The question "what's next?", whether you put "you're doing great so far" in front of it or not, is however quite interesting in my eyes...

BTW, what three questions? I only see you suggesting two.

The selection process was done in a way that we tried to get the 10 questions from 10 different users. We already found enough proper questions to ask within the first page of the questions thread.

It's quite possible that the answers would raise further questions and so there will probably be a new thread created for the following week.

Furthermore, please formulate your questions in a way that they can be easily quoted. Also note that sub-questions will not be allowed. They can be suggested for the following week(s) to come.

I really REALLY want to know whats keeping the damn t-shirts. I can't emphasize the word 'really' here enough

@Kay

Ops. My mistake, I was supposed to write one more question but didn't as I couldn't find proper words and a short way to ask it. It was related to AmigaOne and Eyetech/MAI.

Interesting to see what Fleecy has to say. it's not like theres nothing to discuss about

Good luck, hopefully it works out fine.

Wonder how long it will be before Fleecy's answers get cross-posted to the other sites ?

Hehe, athough all that would need to be put into the post would be a "don't post this anywhere else" clause at the end.

But I would like to be able to link directly to it tho...

I was going to ask what the choosen ten questions were, but i've just found them, in the Main Menu (Fleecy).

@MikeB

Will there be a list compiled from the unused questions that we then can add new questions to?
Will we get to vote on which questions get asked next time?
What time will Fleecys answers be posted?

Hey, that's a good set of questions. I sorta know what to expect for the answer to my question, but it never hurts to ask.

Well, from that list of questions either...

1: I'm a disaster in the popularity stakes ( Wouldn't surprise me )

2: The Matrox partnership was all BS.

3: (Top Secret) Matrox NLE solutions for A1 to be announced at official launch. ( COMPLETE BS).

Oh, well. Guess I'll carry on building that x86 system for my daughter. ( I'm getting bored by the whole scene)

@ The_Editor

We can only ask 10 questions a week, your question will likely be asked next week. I hope we don't have to deal with hard feelings every week.

And FYI Fleecy doesn't select the questions, we AmigaWorld.net staff do. We will do our best to compile the best list of questions.

@ Rebel

We will listen to all the feedback given from the community and we will try to come to the best solution along the way.

Also note that the answers to these questions will be published 1 week *earlier* than originally planned. In effect this gives us an extra Q&A session!

You forgot #4:
The deal fell through as it happens quite often in the computer industry.

It's just speculation on my part though, no need to lose sleep over it

AFAIK, ARexx will be included but no further development of it can continue as no-one has access to the source code. I think the author had been shafted by C=, years ago, and will not release it.

Or something.

There does indeed seem to be a problem with Arexx, hope it gets sorted.
