Soliloquy works fine on MOS/Pegasos (on window) and on real AGA Amiga if there's enough memory (fullscreen).

is it mean that on peg/mos you cant play it fullscreen? how it works on mos if its aga? or demo has both aga and gfx board support?

ETA is a funky animation released at BP2008. It unfortunately will require a PC though as it uses H264 compression in a Matroska container (which I do not believe can be played at the moment on an Amiga/A1)

Rush was also another fine production (MP4 animation) using IDE64 on a C64 to stream a video clip at 25fps -with a rocking soundtrack to boot.

yeah, rush is excellent! one of the all time bests i've everseen:) but the soundtrack winner in my opinion is the #1. c64 demo, cauldron: that chip-d'n'b track made me crazy, those massive basses from the SID - unbelievable!!!

trsi's 2nd element is really a piece of art, with fine music too - i really loved that.

and of course: "this is my demo platform" - the quote of the year:)))) (wild/console #1.)

I watched it on my PC. So long as the codec exists for something like DVPLayer, I suspect that the A1's could be able to handle it - if they can handle HD sized videos (that PS3 demo video is in 1280x960 with MPEG-1 Layer 3 audio at 44100Hz 192kbps).

On my system, 1280x960 videos are (barely) watchable only if encoded in MPEG1 for video and MP2 for audio, using DVPlayer.

My brothers 3.8GHz P4, 2GB ram and X1800 system could just about play it, but it jumped a fair bit and wasn't smooth like on mine.

So why people use such video formats then ?
