You can use PCI-E 16x Extender cables (minimum 24cm).. This cable overlaps over PCI-E 1x, PCI slot.
I use Envy24HT, PCI 3114 with Radeon R7 265 at the same time.
You can check the photos at my blog

In case anyone is confused by the R7 250E, it is neither a 250 or 250X. It uses the same Cape Verde PRO chipset which is used in the 7750. The only difference between the R7 250E and the HD 7750 is the R7 has 4.5GHz memory. _________________ I sold my SAM460ex lite... waiting for money to buy a Raspberry Pi... or a Classic A1000 with Buffee... or an A1222... and OS4.3 FE update 11

I have a Club3D R7 250E which works fine! It is also a rebranded 7750.
https://cdn-reichelt.de/documents/datenblatt/E810/C3D_CGAX-R7252L_DS.pdf
But i am not shure if all Radeon 250E are rebranded, on my PDF is the "Verde Pro" described, is this on the XFX too, did not found that there. But if yes, the Card should work.
I purchased the card for my Sam460 because I don't want to loose my PCI for the SATA controller and I need a low profile because my small tower. The Club3D is a little bit noisy but ok. _________________ www.amiboing.de - www.entwickler-x.de

| Very nice news!!
I hope a Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7970 3Gb will work as thats whats in my PC right now. Might wait however to buy the software and move the card over until the new AMD 300x Series hit as then the prices of the 200x series will tumble so I can buy one of them to replace it with, should be out in 3 months time.
Still also hoping for news on the Radiance Software collection as well.
But great work A-eon and devs. _________________ AmigaNG, YouTube, LeaveReality Studio

| Will a purchase of Warp3Dsi entitle the customer to the Evergreen release when ready? Some may want to buy Warp3D now to support you and are happy to wait for their Evergreen card to be supported. |

| Thanks!
The Southern Islands driver is a very different driver to the Evergreen driver. They are both separate (costly) projects and consequently have different budgets. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS

| Ok. In future, when both SI & EV are out, will warp3D be merged into one package? It would seem messy to have two sets of RadeonHD for AmigaOS. |

| No plans to merge them - but it is for another good reason - to be revealed in the future. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS

Hardware Transformation, Lighting and Clipping (that TCL) in warp3d will be pretty good. Probably can speed everything up in few times.

You know how long can take anything in amigaland (years and years), and in end not everything can or will be done, so if you want 3d right now, better go for supported card driver for which we already have right now. The more users will check the driver, the more bugs will be reported and fixed :) _________________ Join us to improve dopus5! zerohero's mirror of os4/os3 crosscompiler suites

| Btw Congrats to all involved. Having no 3d was a real demotivating show stopper. Thank you for your continuous work. Looking forward for the hd4xxx support.

This too brings me sadness. I have a Radeon 6450. Because of my Sam 460ex setup, I need a Low Profile, single slot card.
The only card that is compatible that I can find is one:
Radeon 7750 1GB Low profile
Guess I shall order it and see what happens :)

| good to see that development, congratulation on achievement, aeon. even though in my opinion 3d support in whatever form should be included in the os (as it was apparently originally intended) rather that it needs to be provided commercially by third party companies. nevertheless, there is apparently no other way left.
for the sake of benchmarking, the infamous cow3d5 on my winuae setup (os 3.x 68k, hardware accelerated wazp3d on surface pro host) gives me the half of the speed in comparison to the mentioned above results of the new warp3d driver. |
