According to the posts to Patrick Wesseling's wall on Facebook by his wife, he was hit by a car and killed while jogging. He was known here as Coder, one of the site's moderators.

Rest in Peace Coder!

@Jinnie

My deepest condolences to you and your familiy. Here on Amigaworld.net Coder always had this white bucket over his head, so I don't even know how he looks. Could you perhaps post a picture of him here?

I really think it's a terrible way to die, and I fully understand the chock and trauma that leaves you in. I hope you get appropriate help to deal with this.

Regarding his Amiga stuff maybe some fellow amigan in the area could help out with that. The least we could do is to save what can be saved from his amiga projects.

Any programmer out there in that region who can help save Coders work ??

(as I recall, it was Thailand right Jinnie?)

Thank you again for all the nice messages from all of you here. I didn't know before that he never revealed his face under the bucket... He was a fine looking young man (very Dutch, blond with blue eyes and really really tall) and he did look like that even when he passed away. He stays young and handsome forever... my beloved Paddy..
