Alfred Faust has released BarsnPipes V1.21 which is a MIDIsequencer based on the source code of Bars&Pipes Professional 2.5cbeta3.

Hay! Bars&Pipes rings a bell... I think I have that some were in my collection. I'll have to try out BarsnPipes when I get my A1 up and runing with OS4.

nope, but the company sold itself to M$... they later did the audio part of DirectX.

btw....
don't download the .lha files they are incorrect.
they only contain the 1.20 version.

Strange but true. M$ bought out Blue Ribbon Software years ago, retained some of the staff and even release a windows version of SuperJam. A couple of years ago one of the original Blue Ribbon/BarsPipes developers (who I beleive still works for MS) was given permission by MS to release the original code. Alfred Faust jumped on the complete but slightly buggy code and began a rewrite calling his first release BP V1.0. Maybe someday this great old title can be updated and re-released for A1 and Morph.
