Announcement   Announcement : *!Prepare yourself for a BIG SHOCK!*
posted by Anonymous on 9-Jan-2003 11:08:39 (1948 reads)
Ok, I don?t know exactly how to tell you guys this news but I nearly fainted on the spot in my local newsagents this week whilst browsing at a defiantly none Amiga Magazine aka
"ComputerAct!ve magazine" To my amazement at the back of the magazine in there " Recommended Websites " part and I quote "these guys do not talk anything but PCS!", what do I find in there list? Well just take a look at this.......! Belive you me I was Amazed and nearly died of shock!
It has been a few years since any national magazine has said anything about Amigas.
Finaly people are relising that there is more choice than windows....

Yes Amiga is mentioned, but with this header:

"You might not be so judgmental when you see the competition. " (referring to Windows).

I'd like it better if it were more positive.

Think of it as a "positive view"just think how many "new" people out there still have not even herd of "Amiga" compared to "WinBlow$" .
I think it is a positive view. And as for Amiga Active I was told only a small amount of members are left at ComputerAc!ve from the Amiga side of things. The original team left and went and did other things....
