Software News   Software News : Amiga Forever 6.0 Launch at AmiGBG
posted by IanS on 31-Mar-2004 17:56:02 (2366 reads)
Amiga Forever 6.0 will premiere at AmiGBG in Gothenburg on April 3rd, 2004. This new version is the result of more than two years of work, and constitutes the most significant update ever.

A launch seminar is scheduled to take place at 12:45. Amiga Forever 6.0 will be shown running on a notebook and on a MicroA1. This will be an exclusive presentation, with the final shipping product being shown a few days ahead of the planned Amiga Forever 6.0 web site update and launch.

There is a Linux version of Amiga Forever 6.0 ?

As you know, there is any plan to port Amiga Forever 6.0 on AmigaOS4 ?

There was an announcement a while ago about Amigaforever on OS4.

When I read this I assumed that the demo would be of AF on OS4.

I do hope I'm not wrong

Team

Could this have been a hint:

Quote:
Cloanto and Amiga are also in talks concerning a new version of Amiga Forever, as well as a special version of Amiga Forever for AmigaOS 4.0, which aims to provide chipset-level Classic Amiga compatibility integrated with the new generation Amiga operating system and hardware.

from this link: Previouse anouncment from Cloanto

I think this is all GREAT news myself... I will definately be purchasing it...

Regards
Darren

Edit: minor changes to make link live and to change message smiley (I goofed)
