@ ALL

tftp-server.lha will popup soon in the new upload list on Aminet. Olaf Barthel released this server for OS3+ systems.

Happy downloading !

Just wondering...should the Installer Guide contain a section about configuring the network interface? I mean some simple instructions how to get A1/OS4 into net with various connection (modem, ADSL).

My A1 is the only machine in my house with net connection right now, and I'd hate to be cut off from the net because I would not know how to configure things properly in OS4...

Cheers,

Seppo

In the text near the end, the guide says

Quote:
The Installer will automatically detect your sound card and install the appropriate drivers. FM801, SB 128 (Esoniq), SB Live / Audigy 1&2 (Emu10kx) based cards are supported in this Developer pre-release.

Based on recent discussion here re:SB128 support, there is actually a DSP chip named "Emu10KX" with a real "X" on the end. Perhaps it should be rewritten to say "Audigy 1&2 (Emu10k1/Emu10k2)" to prevent confusion, since I think that is what it means.

I will send an e-mail to JurassicC too...
