ICQ seems to be a popular request. Will have a look at ICQ tomorrow, see if I can knock up something to get me going. The more plugins I can throw at the client, the more robust it'll turn out to be.

| With ICQ and msn plugins this will be a great application. ATM that is the only two protocols I need.
Will there be a download available at some point (will it be commercial, shareware, freeware or??).
Looking forward to give it a try, keep up the good work

It runs under 3.9 and OS4. There will be advantages to running under OS4 such as using application.library and integration with AmiDock.

There will be a download at some point, probably a beta test phase, a pre-release phase and then finally the finished version 1.0
I haven't really thought about wheather to make it shareware or freeware. It certainly won't be commercial. If it is shareware, I'll imagine I will only charge a tiny amount for the client, all plugins will be free.
I might not even do that, I might just give it out for free...

Looks nice so far Slash. Something I've always wanted to be able to do on JabberWocky is to have the ability of having individual protocols on or offline at my request. I know it's early days but could you look into the possibility of this?
eg. Having MSN online while AIM is offline.
In other news, how is Homer coming along on OS4? I haven't seen the Homer page for a while & I'm looking forward to him wandering around my Workbench bumping his head on low hanging windows & saying the obvious

Oooh, I would love this if it supported ICQ and lived in the dock beeping or flashing at me when new messages appeared. This may motivate me to actually use the ICQ account that I set up years ago and hardly ever use.

| This looks great and I see you also have Yahoo chat mentioned in the FAQ.
IrfanView is an amazing image viewer. The author gives it away but asked for a donation and it seems he has done well with this approach.
This could be a model for you to follow and the best of all worlds, if you don't make your living as a software developer.
We get cool software free.
You get alfa/ beta testers.
The product gets out and known
And people can send you money too.
I did this with FreeAgent then paid for Agent, the Windoze News Reader.
Just my $.02
Anyway, thanks for the effort, nice to see some home grown development again.
