Having just moved, I got in quick with an address change as soon as I heard about the t-shirts, so I beat em to it !

...not that I'm bothered about a T-shirt mind - its just that I dont want someone else to get it !

Would be nice if there would be a place to write the size for the t-shirt

@hnl_dk

The thing about promotional T-Shirts is that they're usually "One size fits very few" Of course, most promotional T-Shirts are also free, but lets not go into that now...

@MegaHurts

You never know - they may have thought "Cool - I used to have one of those" and made a point of looking on the 'net for more info, and eventually bought an A1. Stranger things have happened, allegedly!

On a similar note, each year when we moved residence at university, a few of us naughty ones would request catalogues and brochures from the likes of Ann Summers, and the dodgy adverts in the back ot the Daily Mirror, etc. - to get sent through to "The Occupier" of the place we're leaving. I'd have loved to have been able to see the expression on the recipient's face...

I too updated my address on there as soon as I first heard the news.

Speaking of which - anyone else think it's funny that Amiga's site has a reminder to update your address so that merchandise can be shipped, but no coverage at all of Garry Hare's speech with all of it's important news, including the fact that the T-Shirts were finally going to happen? :)

I hope the T-shirts will be trimmed with gold to show there is no longer a funding problem at Amiga

Good news.... I was looking for a way to change my address, as I've just moved as well. Sent them an email to request my info be changed, but hadn't heard anything back yet. It's good that they have put this reminder up.

According to the experts on Antiques Roadshow a collector's item should be kept in its original packaging to retain the highest value. When I receive my merchandise it will be kept exactly as it arrived.

@Herewegoagain
Look hard for the "Account" button which will appear after you have logged into your AmiPass account. Took me a while to find it so I expect others may also have had trouble. I sent an email to Ray/Webmaster months ago about changing my email address and never received a reply also. Found you can change it with this "Account" button now so I'm happy.

Ray's back on the case. He's been back, correcting the spam abuse of the mailing lists as well.

From: going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

This is good news. Nice to see things are starting to get back on track.

I don't know if I'm eligible for that t-shirt deal or not, as I bought my CAM subscription at the beginning of this year, and that was about the time the offer was withdrawn for any new subscribers. But either way, I'm glad for those of you who will get your t-shirts, long overdue.

Now, wasn't there some lucky chap who won a logo-contest or something in the early CAM-days that was supposed to win an A1+OS4 but never got it? Is that something that KMOS will honour as well, I wonder...or has my memory betrayed me on this one?

I thought it was the girlfriends who were supposed to wear them? Or won't they say "I am Amiga" anymore?

Hmm, they ought to make you mighty popular in prison, I'd gather..

Someone played you good, my friend. That's not chickenlip, that's chickengrease. How do you think they got their hands on 1000 t-shirts at a bargain deal? They're actually the OS4 beta-testers old second-hand bowling shirts that were kindly donated to keep the AInc employees warm during winter, that Mr. Hare's assistants have been busy scribbling "Amiga" on with a magic marker for the past week.
