Software News   Software News : Take a break from exploring the OS4.0 update...

...and play a game of Kobo Deluxe instead. See http://www.rcdrummond.net/amiga/ for a new OS4.0 build of this fast-paced and addictive shoot-em-up built on the SDL toolkit. I take no responsibility for any lack of user productivity caused by installing this game on your machine.

Note: many more of my OS4 ports and projects will be uploaded here in the coming days/weeks. So stay tuned.

Have fun,
Rich

Nicely worded there Mr Rich. Gotta take a look at these with Brother Bodie.

BTW: If someone wants to Betatest WarpSNES for OS 4, pass a mail to SteffenH@hyperion-entertainment.com. Currently do not have any sound-equipment to my
Amiga, so'd need someone to test the sound, before I upload the thing to os4depot...

Talking about all those games and emulators, what is the best joystick? USB one? Any thoughts on this?

Simpy because until the various libraries used are available as shared libraries and not statically linked to the executable, it's much easier to comply with the GPL by uploading the stuff (and all the libs used) to my own page.

Once SDL etc. are available as shared libs, I will upload them to OS4Depot.

Cheers,
Rich

Currently AmigaInput (which is still in testing BTW) has support for Flightsticks attached
to either the Soundblaster Live! or the AmigaOne Motherboard. A USB Driver is in progress,
but I am not the one developing the USB Joystick Driver, so cannot say how far it is.
The flightstick Drivers already fully work. Various drivers also exist for classic of course (PSX Port, CD32 Pad,...). Also Mouse/Keyboard Drivers exist for all both A1/Classic.

@MagicSN

Thanks for the info. Once I have my soundcard and E-UAE and other nice games I have a look at it.
