Software News   Software News : The AmigaOne Playstation Database Update
posted by Toaks on 18-Oct-2004 19:19:28 (3182 reads)
The AmigaOne Playstation Database had an extensive update today and we would like to see more of such days in the future so start contributing again.

FPSE is the emulator we have on os4 to emulate psx games and alot of games moves better and faster than any psx ever will, the emulator can be retrived here: FPSE 0.09, Amiga revision 3, OS4 revision 3 (040920).

Screenshots of Fpse in action can be reached here: Screenshots
The Database is here: FPSE DATABASE
The database design will be updated shortly.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in this project so far.

@Toaks

I have a javascript file that will make the columns sortable allow people to sort the column by the content of the column,

Its rather cool if i do say so

basically looks for a table with a class='sortable' and updates it on the fly so no javascript errors if you browser doesn't understand javascript it won't load the file or has javascript turned off.

it updates the columns to be clickable and places an image in the righthand corner of a trangle pointing up or down :)

Also if you are updating the page having a key to the versions might be a good idea
1. version xxx
2. ...
3. ...
4. ....
5. WIP x

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.

Nice, thanks for your efforts guys! And especially Amidog for FPSE, it's UNBELIEVABLE FAST!

@Everyone with OS4 who have not yet tried FPSE: Go get a your favourite PSX game on the list (or not on the list and submit your results) and TRY IT. you will be impressed!
