Software News   Software News : GCC Installer 1.0 Released
   posted by Amon_Re on 19-Oct-2004 19:59:27 (1893 reads)
I would just like to inform everyone that GCC Installer is now available for download on www.kefren.be

GCC Installer will install the following things on your Amiga:
gcc-2.95.3-4
binutils-2.9.1
make-3.77
libamiga
libnix-1.2
libm-5.4
ixemul-48.0
fd2inline-1.21
GG-docs-0.9
GG-misc
hunk2aout-2.0
tar, gzip & sh

Also included, but not autoinstalled:
wget

Optionally downloaded & installed:
AmigaOS 3.9 NDK

PPC Support (PUP/WOS) is untested but should work.

@Amon_Re

Great

But:
Have You thought about using clib2 instead of libnix?

If not, then there is libnix-2.1

BinUtils 2.14 from OS4Depot does also compile without problem on AmigaOS 3.9

on the AWeb website you can find make 3.81 I know it is not a "stable" release, but it is the most stable release by now.

But great work

The reason some of the packages are abit older is because i know they work properly, when i test newer versions i'll upload a newer version of the installer too.

I'll probably switch it to GCC 3.x in the near future anyway

Looking forward to test Your package, but will first do it when I get my microA1-I, so I can test it on E-UAE

@All:

I thought the ixemul library didn't work on OS4, or is it just the headers?
