| Is Elbox the only company apart from Individual Computers still producing new hardware for classic Amigas? _________________ Trust me. I'm a doctor.

| I have this feeling that if I was living in UK I would find classic amigas as common as PCs. OH GOD WHY AM I LIVING HERE IN CANADA!!? * sniff * |

| Foody: What does the UK have to do with anything? :)
Anyway, I guess Germany would be the place you'd be looking for. The user base is probably quite a bit larger there than in the UK. |

| Ok. Good! But where is the update for FastATA 4000???? Or has the A1200 version just now caught up?
Does the 4000 version support LBA48? _________________ /Harry

| Ok, so the new MKIII version offers a performance advantage over the MKII with a reduced processor load. The current FastATA solution on classic Amiga is indeed very CPU intensive and this is probably it's biggest disadvantage, so the MKIII is looking to improve on one of the PowerFlyer's weakest areas, which is good news.
I'd be interested to see some performance figures for this device.

| By the way, the reason it's showing an AF Gold award is because the powerflyer they're currently showing on the webpage is the old version, which WAS reviewed by Amiga Format.
Obviously they haven't got around to updating the page yet

| What about those, who think that AmigaOne is not an upgrade, but a platform change? Because of the very different (pc like) architecture.. |

Seriously, what does it matter if your machine has its own custom chipset or not? If that *really* matters to you, go out and buy some really obscure video and sound cards and write AmigaOS drivers for them _________________
