Thx Hyperion!

Now that's Xmas presents I like!

Download was really fast now, no waiting at all. Since I mainly use AMRSS for checking news I nearly missed the update. Probbaly I'm one of the last A1 users downloading the update

@DWolfman

And then I downloaded it and installed it a half-hour after your post and connected up my card reader and started the USB stack and popped in a smartmedia card from my camera and ...

The OS4 developers rock!

... and then I fired up MooVid with the GoodTimes video (Edie Brickell!) and ...

The OS4 developers really rock!

(yes, I know MooVid isn't really an OS component, but you guys _did_ include it)

Why don't you guys take a break, you really deserve it.

Great I'm not finished formating my drive (didn't know about the update, so I thought it would be best not to take the quick format) But thats life...

PS: Have You got Your ADSL connection?
If yes... does my qADSL port work?

Many thanks to the team at Hyperion-Entertainment.biz for once again presenting
for the Amiga Community the spirit and results that are so representative of a
wonderful team of creative and serious (with a sense of humor) developers. As
stated by many on this thread, a well deserved rest should be bestowed upon you.
. . . . . .And let's not forget the guys and gals who did the crucial beta-test-
ing either, a well deserved rest bestowed upon you as well. I will state again
what was said before OS4 pre-release ever came into existence, "you are ones to be
be congratulated and encouraged".

Kind Regards,

With new timer.device.kmod (v51.4) my system hangs after launching Kickstart. My monitor stays black. With timer.device.kmod (v51.2) from update1 everything is working fine again. I have A1-SE.

Just installed Update 2 and I am having real problems access CDRW now. Everything was working fine before, but now if I insert a CDRW disc, I get an Audio CD icon appear with a 9.7GB capacity and a Grim Reaper.

Please try if replacing CDFileSystem by version 51.3 from the 1st update fixes it.

1. The update has in fact installed Kernel 51.20, but Workbench-->About shows Kickstart version 51.19 (I have rebooted). Am I confusing different OS components?

Well,

3.Workbench:> version kernel
kernel 51.20

@ mtreasure

I also get an audio CD icon that is known by the filesystem as A6. It appears when I insert a DVD in my DVD drive (DVDMRW:)
info command sayas it is 9G in size!!

EDIT: I re-inserted it and it now has the name 34

I don't know what it means but it doesn't seem to affect anything else.

@Joerg

Already tried that, and swapping back to the older version of SFS. Same problem.
