| I like what I see! I ordered Hollywood a few days ago. I am aware it's not optimized for OS4 yet, but I should be able to get started on things. I'm anxious to get my A1 back to its multimedia roots. |

| How well does it (progs and the resulting exe shows) run under emulation on OS4? _________________ Happiness is mandatory. MindSpace: MindMaps and UML diagrams for OS4

| I do have Hollywood 1.0 (actual version 1.9) and that does crash under AOS4. I think I have to update in the next days. _________________ A computerworld without MS products and Windows! | I'm a happy owner of Hollywood and Hollywood designer - I've already used it to do two quite important presentations in favour of PowerPoint on a Windows machine, and I've done some other bits and pieces as well.
In the future I would really like to see Hollywood capable of creating VCDs or other movie files out of it's projects, and it would be REALLY nice if you were able to create DVD menu systems and movies with it! I can think of a few uses for that already.
Keep up the good work

| Perhaps it is good to note that this program is more something like CanDo and not only limited to presentations. You can make interactive presentations and start programs with it.
Quote:
You can also use the program to create interactive presentations, e.g. you can add menus to your presentation that query user input and react on it. This allows you to create even complete multimedia applications like front-ends or disk magazines. Every object can be used as a button that monitors several events like mouse over, left mouse or right mouse click. If an event occurs, you can define many actions to take, e.g. show/hide other objects, play sounds, start programs, switch page, quit presentation and more. |

Yes. If you use Hollywood without the Hollywood Designer plug-in it is a programming language somewhat like BASIC. If you use it with the Hollywood Designer package life simply gets easier for those that don't know how to write programs! |
