| Will this run an an Amigaone, or only a Classic?
Not necessarily OS4 Native, but just compatible with the way OS4 handles Fonts.

If you take a look at ttengine.readme , it states (for the handling of the fonts) :

Ttengine.library opens TrueType font by itself and renders high quality glyphs directly into any RastPort.

For the compatibility issue (from User's_Guide.html) :

68k version should be used on original Amiga machines equipped with 68020/030/040/060 processors, and on Amiga emulators like WinUAE or Amithlon. This version will also probably work with AmigaOS 4 on Amigas with PPC 603e/604 processors and on AmigaOne with PPC G3 or G4. Note however TTEngine was not tested on AmigaOS 4.

Waiting for an OS4 user to test it (there are demos/examples included for a quick check)  .

| Is this the same font-engine, that was used in AmigaWriter or is it just my memory that plays tricks with me?
