Quite an improvement, really loke it. Might just do a mini-review of it for issue 20 of Total Amiga, but I bet there are people out there who would do the article mor justice than I can? Any offers?

I haven't tried this update yet but I find WookieChat VERY useful.

The only thing I've foung that I can crash it with is large copy & pastes.

If anyone finds the program useful to them, How about chucking a few bob Jahcs way.

Where do I get it? Also... and this is key to my needs. Is it GUI based or is it CLI based?

Hi JAHC;

Well my copy was a little obstinate starting up? It wouldn't connect to AmigaWorld. Hmmm? I had the impression that a window flashed open and closed
trying to connect to server. Ran v1.3 and it opened fine; closed it; ran v1.4
and it finally opened. Wow, look at those colors Nice!

It works here...

I was about to get it and try it under MorphOS. I can write another article for you if you'd like as long as it runs. I'll let you all know tomorrow. I am on a 24hr shift at work tonight.

Ok, it seems more stable than old versions...but I don't understand why it doesn't use :

1) lamp class for OP and Voice;
2) contextmenu (popupmenu.library) also for tab (close/move to another window);
3) drag&drop for tab to move it out of principal window and open a new window;
4) optional button to have near the commands which we ever use;
5) urltext class for url and email...;
6) the bar class for tab: in this way each tab could have an icon and it could be moore configurable
7) when I resize WChat window the scroller should automatically scroll down thus it follow the last written phrases;
8) when I pass from a tab to another it wold be more useful if WChat automatically select the string in which I write to post my reply in a chat...;
9) add /nick command ;
10) add a minimum window when I iconify wookiechat window to permitt to see if anyone write....;

In addition to this, I haven't prove send/receive yet, it perfectly works with mIRC users? And if I have a router (I have it;-D) it is able to find my real ip for send/receive (AmIRC does manually it from Setting/setup/Network/hostname)

Ehmm have you see that when wookiechat window is iconified when you uniconify it appears first the setting colour window and after the wookiechat window?

10x for your work!
