An OS4 port of LWToy, a nice LightWave object Viewer is now available on OS4Depot.

LWToy can display LightWave objects in 3D with many different shading options, including environment mapping, light shading, phong shading and more...

The program icon is in PNG. Damn, are we going to be forced to install powericon ?

But, wow what a speed. It goes 100x faster than Showobj on the 060!

Sorry I wanted to also include an icon which does not require powericons, but I did not have the time. I think it's possible to embed an original Amiga icon and png icon in the same .info file, but how is it done? Are there any tools for that?

ikir:sure but do you even know that powericons make your glow icons look better?

you can use glow icons as normal if u install powericons , no need to use png icons at all unless for the things u dont have a glow icon for and overall it looks better, its faster and maybe most of all you will have it installed for the png packs thats comming for os4

Excellent job! I just tried it and it works fantastic. Slowest I have seen it render is about 12 fps on a Babalon 5 model(high detail) Very good job. If this is without hardware accelleration then when we do get that this machine is going to be HOT!!!!

Aw sugar buggers (had to use something that doesnt get filtered out)!

I didnt know that there was no Lightwave source on the OS 4 CD. I guess that shows how much time I had spent on looking at that!

It would be nice if it could load a scene too so that we could load the B5 station. It is splitted in many objects.
And a scene is in ASCII form, it should be easy to do
