| Man that MultiRen is a god send. Can't live without it.
Hay Deniil any chance of geting the file spliter program working under OS4? The rebuild part seems to work but the spliter part dosn't work at all. _________________

Syntax highlightning is on the todo-list but that implies a tremedes amount of work due to the way Ann is written and requires a total rewrite of the draw routines. You'll have to wait and see what happens in the future.
@paulsamiga
I updated JoinSplitter a couple of month ago and removed some hits which showed in OS4, but now it works perfectly for me. What happens for you? Does it crash? If so, have you tried to press Ignore Errors? I have noticed that the GUI engine used (which I have no control over) may hit now and then (but not in JS what I've seen), but usually its enough to just press Continue an few times. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| MPlayer-GUI is fab, and TheMPegEncGUI is a godsend (what a ridiculously complicated program Lame is, I still have no idea what most of the switches do)
Suggestion for TheMPegEncGUI: Can you modify or add a new option to use freedb.library instead of cddb.library? cddb.library isn't developed any more, and I'd rather like to remove it from my system as the cddb-freedb wrapper doesn't work either. _________________ "Miracles we do at once, the impossible takes a little longer" - AJS on Hyperion Avatar is Tabitha by Eric W Schwartz

I'll see what I can do. I'm converting the freedb includes to E right now. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

It's probably better/easier to port some other newer text editor/ editor "engine" instead. Like Scintilla/SciTE which looks like being very portable and nice (well, execpt that it's written in stupid C++). It has some interesting features, too, like automatic folding creation (ie. in C you write a multi line commet or a { .... } block and it automatically creates a fold for the corresponding lines/block).
Or word expansion. Realtime! Ie. you type:
struct something { int one; int two; int three; };
struct something s;
s.t[PRESS CTRL + RETURN]
and it presents you with a popup list where you can choose between "two" and "three". |
