Perhaps you could find a cheaper location for the event if you will try another time? Sounds like a big budget for an Amiga Show anno 2005.

I guess thats the good thing about Poms... They DO all muck in and help out.

| Major bummer.
I myself and a friend were looking forward to this event and we had never been to New York before. Oh well, at least it's now more likely that I will attend AmiWest or AmiGBG again this year. |

| My freind and I were looking forward to this since it was somewhat local. I was even hoping to show what I was working on. I originally thought the amount of money for the show was rather pricey (ie. the $6000) but I've run conventions locally and while 2300 square foot is tiny, it might be like $2000+ (But I would think less actually). So if you consider two days, that makes it $4000, then if you had to get a seperate ballroom for the banquet, that will tack on some more $. I still think $6000 is rather high, but then again it's New York and each hotel has their own quirks.
I'm REALLY sorry that it fell through. I TRUELY hope that your able to arrange something later on this year!

| Hmm, that is why i loved Petro, he did lots of nice
things for the community. It is time that Amiga Inc.
pics up that role again and do some real support for
the community by supporting and sponsoring the
community and their events. We are the foundation!!!
