News   News : SCAMS @ YOUR EMAIL IN BOX
posted by Anonymous on 21-Feb-2003 7:52:45 (1564 reads)
Recently there have been some very clever scamming organizations coming through my personal email address. One of which is
awards@ goldenwebawards.com. You send of your website to get an award and they replay via email saying "Congratulations! You have won!"

Hmmm, I thought ok.
I was quite chuffed at first about getting an award when my site has only been running for a month. How wrong was I?
Well, quite allot actually they keep blastering you back with spam mail constantly asking you to get personalized logos for your website which I might add are about £30 a peace.
So, If you ever come accross this annoying spam mail ignore this one completly.
THE COMPANY IS JUST ANOTHER SPAM SCAM.
