| Excellent!
This will certainly help stir up some USB drivers for all sorts of stuff. Keep those dev docs coming guys. Kudos. _________________ ExecSG Team Lead

| How about a bounty for the first driver to be ported. I'll start it off with EUR10.
Anyone?
(edit) p.s. I want my Canon scanner (sane compatible), and my Canon camera (gphoto compatible) to be supported in OS4.

| @All
I talked to Thomas Graff today and he was really supriced that this pdf got so many downloads the first day, so now he's talking about doing an update and finishing it.

| Related to it, but not completely on-topic: Wasn't there this Camera software source-codes released some while ago ? Anyone working on this (if I remember right the Camera I use was one of the supported Cameras) ?

| It is absolutely typical, BTW, that here people are happy about such a documentation are done, while on amiga-news.de all people are discussing about is that it would suck due to the bad formatting of the text. Some feeling tells me that here the people are really interested in more drivers appearing, while on amiga-news.de they only fake to be interested in OS 4, and most people commenting are really MOS users taking the opportunity to make bad comments about a theme related to OS 4

| @MagicSN,
What else is new??
About the camera software, yes, I've seen comments about this beeing in the works for OS4 on the Amiga-dev forums. Go fetch.
(edit: p.s. Can you say - AmiGBG 2005 ???)

| BTW, this really is good news. I'd asked Hans-Joerg about this, in particular about if USB2 support could be added without underlying OS changes, as I really do NOT know the OS4 architecture, and this News item got me wondering more about it.
Seems the entire USB stack can be replaced easily enough, so if someone gets ambitious from this doc, _any_ USB2 card would be nice _________________ Are we not done with the same silly arguments and flames yet??!
