Miscellaneous News   Miscellaneous News : Books: Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore - NEW LOWER PRICE
posted by terminator on 7-Aug-2005 14:19:01 (4160 reads)
Good news! The printing costs are far lower than the initial estimates, so the price has dropped to $29.95. The new price is competitive with other hardcover books on the market. At over 600 pages, this is a fantastic value. Note: Anyone who has preordered will receive their refund by the end of August 6.

The book will be going to the printer next week!

So if you have not come up with the excuse to order the book, you just got 7.55 more reasons. Really, it would be 7.55 less, but that wouldn't help justify it, right?

US and Canada, you would be looking at about $US38.00, delivered to your door.

More details on price and shipping here: Order page

Purchasing now....
What a horrendous mess the ordering page is.
Seems to be updating on every dropdown so take care or you'll cancel your order accidentally. Thought there was something wrong with my keyboard for a second there. Thought Firefox was misbehaving too.

Ok. Going back to my happy place now.

Browsing the site, I see the author has 44 hours of interviews.
If this was included on a companion CD in mp3 format, I'm sure all would be willing to pay a bit more for this once in a lifetime audio.

I will be ordering the book too though.

Cheers,
Tim

Yep, just placed my order too . . . although the fact that the $-£ exhcange rate is so good at the moment made it even more attractive over here across the pond in the UK.
