I don't think it's actually on the site quite yet - I tried myself and while I was able to get the OLD issue up without hassle, the new one just came up as a blank. They're obviously still adding the content but I doubt that'll take long now.

You should also recieve an Email about it when it's ready if you're a member anyway.

I like these monthly updates. Even if they only tell us little bits each month at least it doesn't feel like we're being left out in the cold. It's just nice to get word because you know then that work is progressing and that yes, AmigaInc are still ok...

Let's hope it remains that way :)

Heehee, spot the deliberate mistake!

Posted this before actually logging in and following the link!

Well I emailed the webmaster to inform him/her of the missing newsletter!

Thanks for the fixed link! I've now read the magazine and as I said it's very nice to see an effort being made to communicate with the Amiga Community better.

I can see future issues of the magazine being alot better because they're adding alot more scope for member interaction. A decent letters column will be brilliant.

I quite like Sven Harvey's (of MicroMart) idea of a revised A500, although I don't quite agree with the idea of pushing it into the games market to compete with the PS3 and others. I would like to see new Amigas marketed for serious intent - as the original Amiga should have been. Make it capable of running kick ass games, sure, but make sure that when it's marketed that's not all people will see it as.
Other than that I find the estimated price of his revised A500 quite optimistic bearing in mind that a DVD Writer itself would cost almost as much as that, but the idea itself is sound. Indeed, if Amiga COULD make a machine like that for the price he talks aboout then that would DEFINATELY be a marketable machine!!

Before I start a rumour though, no Amiga are not considering designing a revised A500 at this time - that was just a view expressed by a magazine contributor. Nice idea though.

So yeah, generally it was nice to recieve word from Amiga and I look forward to seeing more of this.

I think I may pay the $90 or so Australian dollars just so I can read about this.

Do bear in mind that in the article I did suggest a target release date for such a machine would be Xmas 2004, so with the price of DVD writers falling so damned fast it wouldn`t be much of a problem in my opinion...

When all you really have to do is buy a coupon or tee-shirt...
