Software News   Software News : Wet 4.0 released
   posted by Chris_Y on 28-Aug-2005 16:43:28 (4663 reads)
Wet is the application for OS4 that displays the current weather on your Workbench - in the titlebar, as an icon or simple in a Reaction-based GUI.

This new version includes support for displaying forecasted weather up to 24 hours in advance - where available.

More change details and further information can be found in the readme or on the website.*

Download Wet 4.0 from OS4Depot

* My apologies, the website is not currently available due to Google being a little too enthusiastic at crawling dynamic links. It will be back up at the beginning of next month with a suitably edited robots.txt file. In the meantime, please feel free to ask me about Wet or anything else that would normally be covered there.

Why not just put this:

--->8---
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
--->8---

- as robots.txt in the DocumentRoot in the meantime?

That'll give you a bit of peace and quiet while you work

Best regards,

Niels

Why not just put this:

Because the site has gone over bandwidth limits, so anything I do isn't going to make any difference until the usage counter is reset at the end of the month - you can't access anything at all at the moment. I know exactly which script caused the problem and why, so I've just excluded that one from being crawled.

Contrary to popular belief, it's externally hosted, not running on my AmigaOne, so no peace and quiet required

Chris

Ouch!

I have noticed Google has become 'rather quick' nowadays...within a few hours of bringing up a new site I saw googles webcrawlers hitting the site. So much ofr the old days of submitting sites to search engines, heh

@PEB

Sadly not. The new SDK didn't have the required info, although it had the includes for application.library (which I think is part of what I need). No sign of the SDK for Amidock though.

Chris

Still no sign of the SDK for AmiDock? And with so much potential! I think this calls for a new thread

AmiDock has SO much potential & since OS4 has been around in Beta form for over a year now & the final release is so close I think the SDK for AmiDock should be available months ago.

FuZion.
