Software News   Software News : AmiSynergyc v1.1 Released to OS4Depot
   posted by STRICQ on 5-Sep-2005 2:56:06 (3397 reads)
I have just uploaded v1.1 of AmiSynergyc to OS4Depot.

Following are the changes:

--> 1.1

o Less debug output.

o Now restores any custom pointers that may have been in effect when the input focus left the Amiga.

o Better shutdown functionality when the Amiga is reset from the keyboard.

o Clicking on links now works as normal in IBrowse, it was indeed a bug in this program after all.

Right, I downloaded AmiSinergyc this morning!

But, ehm, what exactly does it do other then taking up precious diskspace?

@OldFart,

you can control other computers that you have on your desk simply by dragging the mouse outside your screen. It will then appear on the computer next to your Amiga etc.
Sort of like VNC but without the Window.

I love it!

Good, you could localize the IBrowse-Bug. Wasn't so easy, I think.

Any chance that this would work for moving between 2 monitors on a single A1? It drives me nuts to have to manually switch between them.

Edit: Maybe I should be more clear. I mean for 2 displays with 2 graphics cards running at the same time, not a kvm or something. It would be very nice to just move the mouse to the edge of the display instead of having to use the screen gadget or Lamiga-m. Sounds now like this is just a client and not a server, so maybe I'll have to wait for intuition to support it. But hey, if we get dragable screens, maybe better multiple monitor support will come to. Even just a working dvi connection for the Raedeon driver would be nice...
