Strictly, I never talked about memory alignment. But you probably mean the bug fix for the CMI driver, which is not related to the emu10kx, because the emu10kx works totally different. |
lol - ok, maybe I should talk about something I do know about.
@jack
So is your system working ok now?

| Hi DaveAE,
I just installed the OS4 version and noticed that AHI-handler is not included in the archive. Is Martin planning on a PPC OS4 version of the handler? The AUDIO: device that comes with OS4 won't work without it. It's the only part of my AHI installation that is not yet OS4 native PPC code. The device.audio addition gives me a workaround for the sound datatype bug I mentioned to you months ago. I was never able to get a response from Stephen about that bug so I gave up on it.
For anyone who hasn't noticed, you need to rename "ahiusr.guide" to "ahi.guide" before copying it to Locale/Help/english so the guide will open when you press the "Help" key in AHI prefs. _________________ X1000 with 2GB memory & OS4.1FE

Yep looks like it is working ok with streaming radio(tunenet), nfs write (amitcp nfs client) from A1 to server and wget of 1/4 G file. Its enough stress imho, also doing two simultaneous donloads of the file, looks fine.
Will try to get to the stessing of the newer driver later
